Dr Ide Delargy, GP Principal at Blackrock, Co DublinDr Ide Delargy is a fully registered medical practitioner since June 1983 and is registered on the Specialist GP Register of the Medical Council of Ireland. Dr Delargy has been practising as a GP since 1986 having trained in both the UK and Ireland. She a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners in London (FRCGP) and a Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners of Ireland (MICGP) and she has a Diploma in Obstetrics from the RCPI.

Dr Delargy is a leader in the field of Substance Misuse with over 20 years experience at both practice and policy level in the area of substance misuse in Ireland and the UK. She is currently Director of the Substance Misuse Programme at the Irish College of General Practitioners as well as National GP Co-ordinator for the HSE Addiction Service and Chairperson of the Sick Doctor Scheme.

Dr Orla Halpenny, MICGP

Dr Orla Halpenny, GP at Blackrock, Co DublinDr Orla Halpenny qualified in 1985 and has been working in general practice for the past 10 years. She has a special interest in medicine for the elderly, medical ethics, substance misuse and in diabetes care.

Additional qualifications include a Masters in Medical Science (UCD), Certificate in Diabetes Care (ICGP), MA in Ethics, and a Diploma in Medicine for the Elderly (RCSI).
